Inauguration - 10:30 to 11:15 a.m.
Er. K NH Srinivas, Associate Professor, Dept. of ECE, SVEC welcomed the audience and invited the dignitaries on to the dais while Dr. P Kodanda Rama Rao, FIE, , IEI, AP State Center presided over the meeting. The Inaugural Function started with lighting the Jyothi by the Chief Guest and other dignitaries on the dais and the prayer song sung by Ms. Santoshi; Ms. Vishnu Priya and Ms. Sravani of II Year ECE Students of SVEC.
The while delivering his opening remarks conveyed his heartfelt thanks to the Chief Guest, Guests of Honour, Technical Director of SVEC, Convener, Coordinator, HOD of ECE, the Principal and Dean (R&D) of SVEC for accepting the request, amidst us and making the Workshop a grand success. He briefed about the importance of the Internet of Everything and explained in detail about the IEI and its functionaries in general and the Andhra Pradesh State Center of IEI in particular.

The Convener of the Workshop and Dean (R&D), Dr. Rama Rao P VV, FIE spoke about the daily utility of Internet of Everything and he stated in contrast to the present emerging technology evolved in Internet of Everything. He advised the students to take up the workshop seriously and come up with fruitful outcome.
The Guest of Honor and Technical Director of SVEC, Er. Ch Appa Rao elaborately discussed about the difference between Internet of Things and Internet of Everything. He advised the students to make use of this workshop, to enlighten their knowledge in these emerging areas.

Ms. Ravallika ECE Student of SVEC introduced the Chief Guest.
The Chief Guest of the workshop, Er. D Rama Krishna, FIE, Former , IEI, Vijayawada and Managing Director, M/s. Efftronics Systems Pvt. Ltd, Vijayawada said in his inaugural address on the Challenges of 4th Industrial Revolution and Initiatives to meet the Industry requirements. He gave the role of budding engineers to be played and skill set which enable fast growth of the industry and build the society.

• The Internet of Things (IoT) is the network of physical things that has the ability to Sense, Communicate, Analyze, Decide and Act.
• The Future is System of Systems – connectivity between things SPECTRUM OF ANALYTICS – data, decision and action.
• Digital Twin – A digital twin is a virtual representation of a physical object or system across its lifecycle, using real-time data to enable understanding, learning, reasoning and then assists in the decision making process for Industrial Intelligence that analyzes the past, understands the present and predicts the future.
After having sumptuous lunch, the Second Technical Session was started where the following speakers were dealt on today’s Workshop theme:
01. Er. Rajan Sharma, thing TRonics Innovations Pvt Ltd., Bengaluru discussed at length about Arduino IDE – Installation libraries of ESP8266 chip to the Arduino environment; ESP8266 basic programs and Connecting the ESP8266 to Thingspeak cloud and sending the data to cloud for analytics.
02. Dr. Rama Rao P.V.V., Professor in EEE and Dean (R&D), SVEC had a detailed discussion on Machine Learning/ Artificial Intelligence applications. Gave insight into different types of advanced algorithms used in projects.
03. Er. TD NSS Sarveswara Rao, Assistant Professor, Dept, of ECE, SVEC said that Transfer data from one thing to other using Long Range Communication Module. Also discussed about other technologies used in data transfer between IoT devices.
04. Er. KNH Srinivas, Associate Professor in ECE of SVEC said that Sensor – Significant parameters – Placement, Accuracy & amp; Error, Precision/ Repeatability/ Reproducibility, Tolerance, Range or Span; Drift; Resolution; Hysteresis; Sensitivity. Different sensors used in IoT related projects.
During the Valedictory function the dignitaries on the dais, Er. Ch. Apparao, Er. Rajan Sarma, Dr. G. VNSR. Ratnakara Rao, Dr. Rama Rao P.V.V., Dr. E. Kusuma Kumari, HOD – ECE, Coordinators addressed the participants. Er. Ch. Apparao presented the certificate of excellence to Er. Rajan Sarma as a token of recognition and service rendered in the field of IoT Applications. Some of the participants gave their oral feedback on the workshop and expressed their satisfaction and conveyed thanks to the organizers. The dignitaries on the dais presented the participation certificates to the participants. Finally, vote of thanks was proposed by Er. K NH Srinivas, one of the coordinator.
